Our background

Way back in 2008, Deb Peppard decided she wanted to make a difference helping businesses who were struggling with people issues and legislative requirements by taking the confusion out and replacing it with down to earth, practical HR advice and consulting services.

And what a ride it has been ever since!

Deb has grown HR Staff n’ Stuff from being a solo operator to building a knowledgeable and passionate team of HR professionals who genuinely enjoy helping the people behind the business - the business owners, the leaders and the employees. It’s all about building engaged teams, minimising risk and reducing the stress.

Deb and her merry band of HR consultants have helped hundreds of businesses improve their people management, retention, engagement, profitability, compliance and performance. More importantly, we provide practical and creative solutions to help managers and business owners struggling with legislative compliance and engagement and retention issues.

THE START – Deb Peppard launches HR Staff n’ Stuff after a career covering the travel, homewares, photography, retail, hospitality and movie industries.

A LEAP OF FAITH - takes on first HR professionals and moves into serviced offices.  Develops a new range of products and services.

GROWTH - expanded team to include internal corporate services.

NEW HOME - purchased and moved into own space complete with a cherry tree in the centre of the office.  The new home allows for the ongoing growth of the team.

KEY MILESTONE - celebrated 10 years in business

CHALLENGES MET - supported hundreds of businesses through the upheaval and trauma of the Covid pandemic

TEENAGER - celebrating 15 years in business with a continually growing team that still loves helping clients and really enjoys being together!
